“He leads me beside still waters….” But sometimes the waters are not still.
Our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas and along our east coast watched as the waters roared and foamed and devastated their lives. We know what to do next – stand with the stricken, comfort the afflicted. There are two ways you can help:
- Go to pcusa.org. On the opening page you will see a link: PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance) is responding… click on the link and you will be directed to a page where you can donate. (scroll down the page to see donation details)
- Give through FPCE. Write a check or place cash in pew envelope – clearly write – “HURRICANE HELP” on memo line or outside of envelope.
WORSHIP WITH US IN THE SANCTUARY AT 11:00 AM this Sunday. Choir practice at 9:30. Adult Sunday School at 9:45.
The way is long; let us go together.
The way is difficult; let us help each other.
The way is joyful; let us share it.
The way is Christ’s, for Christ is the Way; let us follow.
The way is open before us; let us go:
with the love of God, the grace of Christ and the communion of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
