Our next Community Dinner is on Wednesday, July 6 from 6:00-8:00PM on the Side Lawn, and will be a Sausage & Pierogi Fest. We’re asking for folks interested in volunteering as set-up, servers, or clean-up crew, or those donating side dishes or desserts to sign up using the SignUp Genius link so that we can better plan each month.

Free Community Meals
One of the signature outreach efforts FPCE has organized in recent years helps to live out our mission to love our neighbors. The first Wednesday of the month beginning in June and running through the summer is a time when the members of the congregation open up the side lawn to the community to offer a free dinner. All of the food items are provided by the church with side dishes and desserts brought by FPCE members. Volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 23 regularly assist with set up and tear down. Elders Jim Segedy and Tyler McGuigan work the grill, a volunteer team organizes the kitchen, and we enjoy a wonderful mix of guests from the Edgewood and Wilkinsburg areas who typically outnumber those from the congregation.
