Sunday is Coming

Good morning everyone,
          The day dawned brightly across our backyard early this morning. Acclaiming that this day promises to be a beautiful blessing for me. That does not mean it will be easy. That is part of the blessing of the day…our difficulties, challenges, even our weakness is a door to the power, grace, and love of God. I pray you find that blessing today.
          I look forward to seeing you Sunday: 9:45 adult Sunday School, 11:00 a.m. worship.
          Given the headlines, let us offer this prayer: “God of ages, in your sight nations rise and fall, and pass through times of peril. Now, when our land is troubled, be near to judge and save. Give us your light and your truth to guide us; through Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of this world, and our Savior. Amen.
