Transformation Happens

Good afternoon everyone.
If something happens to you that you do not expect – how do you react? All of us face that dilemma. Having to adjust to the unexpected. It can throw us off course – or set us on a new course. We can run from it or deny it or be transformed by it. Transformation (not “going to heaven when we die”) is what Christianity is all about. This Sunday we will look at another story of transformation. (See Acts 1:1-11). As Christians, we learn to expect the unexpected, right? Let us sing and pray and hear God’s transforming word read yet again.
And….IT IS MOTHER’S DAY! The Deacons will treat moms (and all of us) with muffins after worship.
