Voces Solis presents the 9th annual "Summer Singers" in concert on Saturday, August 17 at 7:00PM in the (newly air-conditioned!) FPCE Sanctuary. With over 70 members this year, the group will present a wide range of high-quality choral selections - a cappella as well as with piano and with organ - including pieces by Dan Forrest, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Arvo Part, James MacMillan, and more. Suggested donation: $10 at the door. Over the past 8 years, the Summer Singers have performed mostly in the Mt. Lebanon, Carnegie, and Coraopolis areas, so we're pleased to welcome them to the east end of the city with this concert.
Voces Solis, a premier chamber choir, performs a diverse repertoire of challenging and innovative choral works. Composed of professional musicians, music educators, and experienced choristers, they are committed to providing an educational experience for their members and audiences alike. Summer Singers is an annual outreach program organized by Voces Solis to bring busy musicians together during a time when schedules are more relaxed, offering a chance to perform quality music together. We hope you'll join us as we host this concert of beautiful choral music! Comments are closed.
